Growing Leaders - Healthy Lifestyle

The chapter will implement a year-long, points-based wellness initiative designed to foster holistic health among members. This program tracks three core pillars of well-being: Physical Activity, Nutritional Education, and Mental Resilience.
By May 30th, at least 75% of the total chapter membership will have participated in the Wellness Decathlon by submitting at least one monthly wellness log, ensuring broad exposure to healthy lifestyle habits.
60% of the chapter membership will earn at least 50 points by the end of the school year.
90% of participating members will report an increased understanding of the relationship between local agriculture and personal nutrition

Growing Leaders - Leadership

Blue and Gold Blueprint is a premier leadership development program designed specifically for Greenhand FFA members. By equipping our newest members with foundational leadership skills, we are actively building the future of our chapter. As part of this program, members will be selected as Junior Officers, gaining hands-on experience in chapter development and serving alongside the senior officer team.
By the end of the first nine weeks, the Growing Leaders committee will receive completed Junior Officer applications from the current Greenhand members to ensure a competitive and diverse selection process for the five available positions.
Throughout the fall semester, the two selected Junior Officers will attend 100% of the monthly chapter officer meetings and complete three 'Leadership Competency' workshops (focused on public speaking, POA planning, and parliamentary procedure) led by the Committee Chairs and Advisors
By the end of the spring semester, the selected Junior Officers will successfully plan and execute one "Greenhand Social & Recruitment Night," achieving at least 75% attendance of Greenhands to foster peer-to-peer engagement and chapter retention.

The Blue & Gold Roadside Restoration is a monthly service commitment that brings the FFA motto "Living to Serve" to life. By adopting a designated stretch of highway, chapter members demonstrate premier leadership and personal growth through active citizenship. This project focuses on improving the local environment, fostering a positive public image for the chapter, and ensuring that our community reflects the high standards of the National FFA Organization.

Members are paired with local professionals for a half-day "on-the-job" experience to learn industry-specific skills firsthand. Following the experience, the chapter hosts a public Showcase Night where students use digital media and displays to feature their mentor’s business and the career opportunities within that sector.
